Kaleido*Kids: Week of April 20, 2020

A list of everything you'll need for your virtual Stages class broken down by class!

BROADWAY & ME (Newsies)

  • COMPUTER, IPHONE, IPOD, IPAD, TABLET, ETC.

  • BUBBLES AND/OR BUBBLE MACHINE

  • CLEAN-UP BIN: Hampers, Tupperware, Baskets, or Ikea Bags work great!

  • SAND PAPER BLOCKS: Help us spread the news to all of the Newsies! We'll be using sand paper blocks but any blocks would do! We'll be exploring the difference between rubbing the blocks together and clapping them!

  • CLATTERPILLARS: We'll be using our clatterpillars to make a click clack noise of a typewriter. You can use actual an computer keyboards or calculator you have lying around the house or go on an adventure with your little one to find something that makes a click clack noise. (This is a great chance to bring out those baby tap shoes if you have them!)

  • PIGGY BANK SHAKERS: You're going to need to make one! Here's what you need: A water bottle or anything that you can put things in that is clear, can't be broken, and sealed tight. Then all you need to do is add some rice, quinoa, beans, and spare change! If you want to get fancy you can dye the rice pink using the steps from our Oz Sensory Bin last week!

  • POM POMS:Don't have Pom Poms handy? Newspapers are even better!
