BROADWAY & ME (The Sound of Music)
COMPUTER, IPHONE, IPOD, IPAD, TABLET, ETC.
BUBBLES AND/OR BUBBLE MACHINE
CLEAN-UP BIN: Hampers, Tupperware, Baskets, or Ikea Bags work great!
CLATTERPILLARS: We'll be using clatterpillars to make a clatter. Grab anything you have handy that you can use to make a lot of noice!
FLOWER SHAKERS: If you have a toy flower or ever a real flower that won't make a big mess, you can use that during class. If not, we'll be showing you how to turn your little one into a flower for a fun sensory experience so use a shaker or instrument to play along during the song!
PUPPET: We'll be putting on a puppet sho Don't have a puppet handy? Here's how to make one using a stuffed animal in 6 East Steps!
XYLOPHONE: We'll be introducing the musical scale with one of our favorite instruments - the xylophone! Don't have a xylophone handy? Toy pianos and ukuleles work are great alternatives but any instrument you have handy will work!

POTS + PANS: Don’t have a drum? Neither does Terk! Have a few pots and pats handle. We're going to be going on a musical safari to find things in our homes we can use to make music!

CIRCLE SHARE ITEM OR STORY Take a moment to talk to your child before class about what they want to share with their friends this week. If they want to share a toy or piece of art they've made, make sure to have it handy at the start of class!
ETCH-A-SKETCH OR PAPER + MARKERS/CRAYONS: CLATTERPILLARS: We'll be using our clatterpillars to make a click clack noise of a typewriter. You can use actual an computer keyboards or calculator you have lying around the house or go on an adventure with your little one to find something that makes a click clack noise. (This is a great chance to bring out those baby tap shoes if you have them!)

A PRIVATE SPACE Please find a quiet, private place for your child to participate in our virtual classes. Video conferencing can be difficult if there's too much going on in the background and we know some of our K-8 friends don't like when moms, dads, caregivers, and siblings watching them practice. 😉
