Stages is a Chicago based Performing Arts company offering one-of-a-kind classes and birthday party entertainment for children ages newborn – 12 years. Stages provides Chicago area families with a performing arts program that grows with their child. From fun, developmentally appropriate infant/toddler classes (that are also entertaining for caregivers) to a training ground for the next generation of performers, Stages has it all.
Engaging and inspiring the next generation of performers, patrons, and arts professionals at every stage of development.
Cultivating confidence, curiosity, creativity, and a love of the performing arts.
Stages was founded by Chicago area native, Emily Pinas. Prior to dedicating herself full time to teaching, Emily performed professionally here in Chicago as well as in New York. She holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Theatre from New York University's Steinhardt School and an M.S. in Child Development from Chicago's Erikson Institute.
At Stages, we believe that the performing arts have the power to positively shape a child’s life. We know that engaging children in the arts is a privilege and are committed to ensuring the quality of our programs and caliber of our teaching artists/performers are of the highest level of excellence. We are dedicated to maintaining a supportive and rewarding environment that fosters innovation and creativity in both the children we teach and the teaching artists we employ. Stages Performing Arts is committed to creating an environment that is safe and welcoming for all children and their caregivers regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or ability.
